Make a request
Contact us through the contact page and start your message with “Data protection request”. Tell us whether you want to access, correct or delete information, withdraw marketing consent or ask about another right. Include an enquiry reference if you know it.
Confirming your identity
We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity before sharing or changing personal records. We will explain what is needed. Do not send copies of identity documents or passwords in your initial message.
Responding to your request
We normally respond to data protection rights requests within one month. Where the law permits extra time for a complex request, we will explain the extension. Some rights depend on the circumstances and may be subject to legal exceptions.
Keeping your information accurate
Please tell us if your contact details or study preferences change. We can update the enquiry record and explain any action needed with a separate university application or funding application.
